DAT (Dental Admission Test)

A critical and sometimes overwhelming component of the dental school application process is preparing for and taking the DAT (Dental Admission Test). Study preparation can take as long as three to four months.

DAT chartAll applicants must take the DAT, which includes the following six areas:

  1. Biology
  2. General Chemistry
  3. Organic Chemistry
  4. Reading Comprehension
  5. Perceptual Ability
  6. Quantitative Reasoning
