ADPDC SponsorshipAbout the ADEA Allied Dental Program Directors' Conference 

The ADEA Allied Dental Program Directors’ Conference (ADEA ADPDC) is the only conference developed exclusively for allied dental program directors, by allied dental program directors.  


Attendee Information (from the 2017 meeting):

  • Attendees of this meeting are the directors of CODA-accredited allied dental education programs. Learn more
  • 73% of attendees represent Dental Hygiene education programs; 26% represent Dental Assisting education programs; and 1% represent Dental Laboratory Technology programs. 
  • The 175 attendees came from 133 educational institutions and 39 states.

About the ADEA Sections on Business and Financial Administration and Clinic Administration (ADEA BFACA) Meeting

The ADEA BFACA Meeting is an alliance of members of two ADEA sections that meet annually—the ADEA Section on Business and Financial Administration and the ADEA Section on Clinic Administration. This meeting offers attendees the opportunity to collectively share knowledge and learn from one another and industry experts, with the goal of improving business and clinical operations at their dental institutions.

Attendee Information (from the 2016 meeting):

  • Of the 141 attendees, 79 were deans, associate deans or assistant deans; 13 were the directors of allied or advanced dental education programs; and 40 were directors of clinical operations, finance, and other related areas. 
  • Attendees represented 59 dental education institutions the US and Canada, located in 37 states and two Canadian provinces.

About the ADEA Deans' Conference

The goal of the annual ADEA Deans' Conference is to provide dental school deans with information and tools to support them in these evolving areas of their roles and responsibilities. The ADEA Deans' Conference is a by-invitation-only meeting for U.S. and Canadian dental deans and their designated representatives. Regarding the second representative designee, deans are encouraged to bring a member of their leadership team whose responsibilities are germane to the conference's business enterprise focus.

At the ADEA Fall Meetings , dental educators, administrators and students come together to explore the critical issues affecting dental education from all angles. ADEA Councils and Sections meet to conduct their necessary mid-year business.
